Amanda has a general litigation practice focused on complex corporate and commercial disputes and securities litigation. Amanda has extensive experience in matters pertaining to securities regulatory and enforcement matters, internal investigations, shareholder disputes, directors' and officers' liability, professional negligence, oppression proceedings, claims relating to post-employment obligations, including moving for and responding to injunctions, and class proceedings.

Amanda's recent experience includes representing: mining corporation and reporting issuer in connection with an internal investigation involving historical accounting matters, disclosure issues and allegations pertaining to corruption offences, securities class action defence, regulatory investigation by Ontario Securities Commission and global settlement negotiations and resolution; public companies, Board of Directors and Audit and Special Committees in respect of regulatory investigations, allegations of foreign corrupt practices and related enforcement and securities litigation.

Amanda has motion, application, trial and appeal experience before all courts in Ontario. She regularly appears before a number of administrative and regulatory boards and tribunals, including the Ontario Labour Relations Board and the Ontario Human Rights Tribunal. Amanda has experience in matters pertaining to securities regulatory and enforcement matters, internal investigations, shareholder disputes, directors' and officers' liability, professional negligence, oppression proceedings, claims relating to postemployment obligations, including moving for and responding to injunctions, and class proceedings, among others. Amanda also has experience in civil fraud litigation, including Norwich orders, mareva injunctions and enforcement of civil judgments. While attending the University of Windsor, Faculty of Law, Amanda competed in the Arnup Cup Trial Advocacy Competition as a member of the winning team. Amanda also competed in the Pace International Criminal Law Moot Competition in New York, where she was recognized as the top oralist in her round of the competition; and in the Sopinka Cup advocacy competition.
