Francesca Chiara Bevilacqua’s practice focuses on business crime, with an emphasis on corporate criminal liability pursuant to Legislative Decree No. 2312001. She has extensive experience in assisting companies and individuals on corporate criminal law issues (among which, corporate crime, bribery, bid-rigging, market abuse), both in judicial proceedings and in compliance related matters.
Before joining Gianni & Origoni, Francesca worked in a prominent Italian corporate criminal law firm.
She graduated in Law from Bocconi University in 2003, and then she collaborated for numerous years with the Criminal Law chair.
Visiting research fellow at Columbia University Law School in 2006, she earned her Ph.D. in Law of Business and Commerce in 2008 at Bocconi University.
Francesca authored several publications on business crime, among which the book Responsabilità da reato ex d. lgs. 231/2001 e gruppi di società, Egea, 2010.
She is a member of the Milan Bar Association.
She speaks Italian and English.
