As a former federal prosecutor Maria tried many high-profile criminal cases in the areas of public corruption, financial crime, money laundering, and capital prosecutions. As a defense attorney she has represented many high-level defendants in international criminal cases involving white collar crime, narcotics, and violent crime. Maria also represents many clients in OFAC related matters and has successfully had clients removed from the Sanctions List. As an accomplished litigator, Maria also litigates a broad range of civil matters.
