I am a co-managing partner of Ballard Spahr's New York office and a member of the firm's nine person elected board. I focus my practice on white collar criminal defense, securities litigation, both regulatory and criminal defense, as well as complex commercial litigation. I have been practicing over 30 years, and have handled matters across the spectrum, including but not limited to FCPA, mail and wire fraud, tax, customs fraud, environmental, products liability, and immigration. I have handled a number of crypto currency related matters, both with the SEC and DOJ. I also have an active practice in the NY State courts, and in investigations conducted by local district attorneys as well as the New York Attorney General and Inspector Generals. I also maintain a very active pro bono practice.

In my personal life, I am a bee keeper and I raise oysters. I also am an avid golfer.
