Indianapolis

The Indianapolis Chapter was founded in November, 2015 by Kathleen ("Katie") Matsoukas, Vice-Chair of Barnes & Thornburg LLP's White Collar & Investigations practice group. Katie started the Indianapolis chapter after relocating from Chicago (where she was a member of the Chicago chapter) to her hometown of Indianapolis, where she saw an opportunity to connect professionals practicing in the white collar areas both with each other, and with a national referral network.

Its growing membership boasts some of the most distinguished and experienced criminal defense practitioners in the city, and includes professionals representing individual and corporate clients in a variety of areas, including anti-corruption/FCPA, antitrust, healthcare, insider trading, securities, and cybercrime. The chapter meets quarterly.

CHAPTER MEMBERSHIP CRITERIA

The Indianapolis Chapter accepts Law Firm Attorney Members and Consultant Members as defined:

Law Firm Attorney Member: Attorney private practitioners practicing in the area of White Collar Defense and Compliance, defined as those who represent or assist companies, other organizations and individuals in connection with the wide-range of white collar government investigations and enforcement actions (criminal, civil, regulatory, and administrative), internal investigations, compliance and ethics counseling, and related matters.

Consultant Member: Professionals who work at consulting firms (or non-attorney professionals who work at law firms) who assist clients on matters in the White Collar Defense and Compliance field as previously defined, and who otherwise qualify under the WWCDA membership criteria and offer support services and referral opportunities to attorneys in the practice.
Some WWCDA and chapter events may be limited to attorney private practitioner (law firm attorney) members only.

All Members must have their primary work address in the same location as our chapter.
